COGPOW Haiti

Vision: To transform the quality of life of Haitians by teaching, educating, bringing up children to hunger for learning and knowing they are children of God and people of worth and having a desire to create a better life for themselves, their families, their communities and their country.

Mission: To create Christian educational opportunities for children who would not otherwise have it, so that they may become competent and productive citizens who will excel individually, communally and spiritually.

C.O.G.P.O.W will not be there as a hand out, rather to create change agents that will become a new generation of Haitians helping each other, transforming Haiti.

Clothes for the children

We welcome any item of clothing that you may want to get rid of. Please feel free to drop them at the
United Methodist Church office between 10:00 and 2:00 or call (863) 983-5269 for special arrangements.

Upcoming Luncheon

Clewiston ELK's is sponsoring a luncheon on Saturday June 9th at 3 acres fields from 11:00 to 2:00. The proceeds will help educate children in Haiti. They will be serving their famous pork steak dinner with baked beans, coleslaw, dinner roll. Please come out and support us for the ridiculously low cost of $8.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
